Long Tailed Tit

These delightful little birds are approximately 15cm in length, half of which is obviously the tail. It is a pleasure to watch these birds as they gather material for their nest, which are of a domed construction and are a work of art. As well as feathers, other nest building materials include spiders webs and lichens.
