Greenfinch

The Greenfinch is a very common British resident and is a regular visitor to our gardens. The male is a striking green colour, with the females appearing duller. The juveniles are similar to females but show more streaks in their plumage. They feed on seeds, buds and insects and are approximately 15cm in length.
