Although I no longer use this form of photography, when I was Digiscoping I used the following:
Opticron ES80GAED scope fitted with an Opticron HDF 20-60X zoom eyepiece
Canon Ixus50 or Ixus75 compact digital camera
A cable release bracket with a 10" cable release
I link the scope and camera together with home made tube adaptor
