A FEW MORE RED KITES

I was very fortunate to stumble across a couple of Red Kites perched and flying very close to the road this month. As I've said before it pays to carry your camera with you at all times, as you never know what you may get the chance to photograph. I managed to get a few shots that I'm pleased with before they drifted away over the trees. The only thing that spoils it a bit is the fact that the sky was a dull grey, but it seems that nearly every time I photograph Red Kites the sky is grey or white. Hopefully I'll get to photograph some with a nice blue sky soon. I've also recently added a head shot of a captive Red Kite, it's great to see these birds this close and in so much detail.
